Marker requests your device's precise location ONLY at the exact moment you tap "I Parked Here" (or "Re-drop Pin Here"). This is a single, one-shot location read — Marker does not track your location continuously, does not use background location, and has no location access outside of that single button tap. The coordinates are stored only in local app storage on your device and are never transmitted to any server operated by us or any third party.
Because your location is read and used within the app at the moment you request it, Apple's privacy framework classifies this as location data that is collected but not linked to your identity and not used for tracking. We do not build a location history, do not associate your location with any account or advertising identifier, and do not share it with anyone.
Marker Pro subscribers can optionally attach a photo to a parking pin's note using Apple's PhotosPicker. The picker runs in a separate system process — Marker only receives the specific image you select, never a listing of your photo library. The chosen photo is saved as image data in the app's local, on-device storage only.
Marker has no login, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. We do not know who you are or where you park.
Marker Pro is processed entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit. We never see or store your payment information.
You can permanently delete all data at any time from Settings → Reset All Data, or by deleting the app.
