Bolt is designed around a simple principle: your fabric stash is your business, not ours.
Nothing. Bolt does not create an account, does not require sign-in, and does not transmit your stash data — fabric names, photos, yardage, notes — to any server. Everything is stored locally in the app's on-device database.
If you attach a photo to a fabric entry, that photo is stored only within Bolt's local app storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
Bolt contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers of any kind.
Deleting the Bolt app from your device permanently removes all of its data. There is no cloud backup to separately delete.
Bolt is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
