Curb: Find My Parking Spot

This Privacy Policy explains what Curb: Find My Parking Spot (“the app”, “we”) does with your information. The app is private by default: it has no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and it does not sell your data.

What data the app handles

Your GPS location, captured only when you tap “I'm Parked Here”, to save where your car is parked.
An optional photo of your parking spot (Pro feature).
An optional note and meter timer you add (Pro feature).

All of this stays on your device and is used only to show you back to your car and send you a local meter reminder.

Permissions we request and why

Location (When In Use) — to save your exact parking spot and give you walking directions back to it.
Camera — to let you attach a photo of your parking spot (Pro feature).
Photo Library (Add Only) — to let you save a photo of your parking spot.
Notifications — to alert you before your parking meter expires (Pro feature).

The app requests each permission only when you use the related feature. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Where your data is stored

Your parking spot, photos, and history are stored on your device. If your device is configured to use iCloud, your data may be backed up or synced through your own Apple iCloud account, which is controlled by you and governed by Apple’s privacy policy. We do not operate a server that stores your location or photos.

No tracking or advertising

The app does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, and it does not use third-party analytics or tracking frameworks to follow you across apps or websites. We do not build advertising profiles from your location or content, and your location is never sent to us.

Purchases

The app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (“Curb Pro”) that unlocks meter alerts, photo notes, and full parking history. Purchases and billing are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Children’s privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at s0533495227@gmail.com and we will address it.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and the right not to have your personal information sold. We do not sell personal information. Because your content is stored on your device, you can exercise access and erasure directly: open the app to view your data, and delete data within the app or by deleting the app. For any request you cannot complete yourself, email us at s0533495227@gmail.com and we will respond.

Deleting your data

You can clear your current spot and history within the app. To remove all of the app’s data from your device, delete the app; this removes the locally stored content. If you sync through your own iCloud, manage or remove that data in your iCloud settings.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here.
