Headstart: See It Coming
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what Headstart: See It Coming (“the app”, “we”) does with your information. We built this app to be private by default: it does not include third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs, and it does not sell your data.
Who we are
The data controller for this app is Shimon Deitel (Joshua Deitel). You can reach us at s0533495227@gmail.com for any privacy question or request.
What data the app handles
- Your calendar events, read on your device to build the weekly snapshot.
- Bills and due dates you enter, stored on your device.
- A de-identified 7-day snapshot, which is sent to OpenRouter to predict likely problems.
- The predictions returned to you, stored on your device.
Your calendar and bill data are read on your device and are not stored on any server we operate.
AI processing (OpenRouter)
The core feature of Headstart: See It Coming is powered by artificial intelligence. To provide it, the app sends a de-identified 7-day snapshot of your calendar and bills to OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), a third-party AI provider, solely to predict what is likely to go wrong in your week so you can prepare.
Headstart builds a condensed, de-identified summary of the next seven days from your calendar and any bills you add. Before sending, it removes obvious direct identifiers such as names and exact contact details where it can. Only this de-identified snapshot is sent to OpenRouter to predict likely problems (such as overbooked days or a bill due during a trip). Your full calendar is never uploaded.
This content is transmitted only to deliver the feature you requested and to return the result to you. It is not used by us to build advertising or marketing profiles about you, and we do not sell it. OpenRouter processes the content to generate the response under its own terms and privacy policy, which we encourage you to review at openrouter.ai/privacy. We send only the specific content described above — no more than is needed to produce your result.
Permissions we request and why
- Calendar — to read your upcoming events so the app can spot tight schedules, conflicts, and busy days.
The app requests each permission only when it needs it for the feature you are using. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Where your data is stored
The content you create in the app is stored on your device. If your device is configured to use iCloud, your data may be backed up or synced through your own Apple iCloud account, which is controlled by you and governed by Apple’s privacy policy. We do not operate a separate server that stores your personal content.
No tracking or advertising
The app does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, and it does not use third-party analytics or tracking frameworks to follow you across apps or websites. We do not build advertising profiles from your content.
Subscriptions
The app offers an optional auto-renewable subscription (“Pro”) at $0.99 per month, alongside a free tier. Purchases and billing are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Children’s privacy
The app is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at s0533495227@gmail.com and we will address it.
Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and the right not to have your personal information sold. We do not sell personal information. Because the content you create is stored on your device, you can exercise access and erasure directly: open the app to view your data, and delete data within the app or by deleting the app. For any request you cannot complete yourself, email us at s0533495227@gmail.com and we will respond.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual items within the app. To remove all of the app’s data from your device, delete the app; this removes the locally stored content. If you sync through your own iCloud, manage or remove that data in your iCloud settings.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here.
