Kinetic: Sand Art

This Privacy Policy explains what Kinetic: Sand Art (“the app”, “we”) does with your information. The app is private by default: it has no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and it does not sell your data.

What data the app handles

Your selected material and custom color choices.
Your touch-size and trail-persistence settings.
The live sand/material height-field drawing surface, generated entirely on-device as you draw.

All of this stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party. The app does not collect any data.

Permissions we request and why

The app does not request access to your camera, photo library, microphone, location, contacts, or any other protected resource. It only reads your on-screen touch input to drive the drawing simulation.

Where your data is stored

Your material selection and settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS local storage. If your device is configured to use iCloud, this small amount of local preference data may be backed up through your own Apple iCloud account, which is controlled by you and governed by Apple’s privacy policy. We do not operate a server that stores your data.

No tracking or advertising

The app does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, and it does not use third-party analytics or tracking frameworks. We do not build advertising profiles from your content.

Purchases

The app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (“Kinetic Pro”) that unlocks a custom color picker. Purchases and billing are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Children’s privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at s0533495227@gmail.com and we will address it.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and the right not to have your personal information sold. We do not sell personal information. Because your settings are stored on your device, you can exercise access and erasure directly within the app or by deleting the app. For any request you cannot complete yourself, email us at s0533495227@gmail.com and we will respond.

Deleting your data

To remove all of the app’s data from your device, delete the app; this removes the locally stored preferences. If you sync through your own iCloud, manage or remove that data in your iCloud settings.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here.
