Ledger

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what Ledger (“the app”, “we”) does with your information. The app is private by default: it has no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, no network access, and it does not sell your data.

Who we are

The data controller for this app is Shimon Deitel (Joshua Deitel). You can reach us at s0533495227@gmail.com for any privacy question or request.

What data the app handles

All of this stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party.

Permissions we request

None. Ledger does not request access to your camera, photo library, location, contacts, or any other protected resource. The app has no network connectivity of any kind — every purchase entry and every setting lives entirely on your device.

Where your data is stored

Your ledger entries are stored on your device using standard iOS local storage. If your device is configured to use iCloud, your data may be backed up through your own Apple iCloud account, which is controlled by you and governed by Apple’s privacy policy. We do not operate a server that stores your data.

No tracking or advertising

The app does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, and it does not use third-party analytics or tracking frameworks. We do not build advertising profiles from your activity.

Purchases and subscription

The app offers an optional auto-renewable subscription (“Ledger Pro,” $4.99/month) that unlocks multiple budget envelopes, a monthly pattern view, CSV export, and custom accent-color themes. Subscription billing and renewal are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple ID account settings. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Children’s privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at s0533495227@gmail.com and we will address it.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and the right not to have your personal information sold. We do not sell personal information. Because your content is stored on your device, you can exercise access and erasure directly: open the app to view your entries, and delete individual entries or the app itself. For any request you cannot complete yourself, email us at s0533495227@gmail.com and we will respond.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual purchase entries at any time within the app. To remove all of the app’s data from your device, delete the app; this removes the locally stored ledger. If you sync through your own iCloud, manage or remove that data in your iCloud settings.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
