Scanly turns your iPhone into a document scanner: scan multi-page documents, export clean PDFs, and pull text out with on-device OCR.

Scanly is free to use with a limit of 3 documents. Scanly Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited documents, PDF export, and OCR text recognition. It is billed once through your Apple ID, not a subscription.

Frequently asked questions

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app, go to the Pro screen, and tap “Restore Purchases.” Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Scanly Pro.

Is my data private?

Yes. Scanning and OCR happen entirely on your device. The app has no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and nothing is uploaded to us. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual documents inside the app. To remove everything from your device, delete the app. If you sync through your own iCloud account, also remove the data in your iCloud settings.
