Privacy Policy

Emulsion collects no data. None. Everything you enter stays on your device, and the app makes no network connections.

What Emulsion stores

Your film stocks, camera loads, frame counts, frame notes, and development records are stored in a local database on your iPhone. This data never leaves your device through the app. It is included in your standard device backups (iCloud or local), which are managed entirely by Apple under your own Apple account settings.

No personal information
No analytics or usage tracking
No advertising identifiers
No location data
No crash reports sent by the app itself
No cookies, no third-party SDKs

Network access

Emulsion makes zero network requests. There is no server, no account system, and no sync service. The only network activity related to the app is Apple's own App Store and StoreKit infrastructure when you purchase or restore the optional Pro subscription; that transaction is handled by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy. Emulsion never sees your payment details.

Subscriptions

Emulsion Pro is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We receive no personal information about you from the purchase.

Children

Emulsion does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, meaningful changes are unlikely.
